<description>I have a related problem in vista home premium on my dell Inspiron: the welcome screen hangs until i type ctrl+alt+del. I can then click on my name and windows opens quick. i have been tinkering with this problem for more than a year and can live with the extra security except now i have a new user and would like to simplify things. this laptop is used at home with media center, no children or other security issues.
Anyone with an idea to prevent &quot;lockdown&quot; or whatever security thing is going on here.
Part of my problem is asking the right question! Anyone?
thanks in advance.
