If you’re getting the CTF files error, just download the latest version of AVG. Mine wasn’t working with CTF file error, I just downloaded the latest version (9) and started a fresh. It automatically replaces the previous version for you and sorts the problem.

Hi, this isn’t working for me. I even tried downloading the script and running that, it said “no CTF files found, no changes made” and my AVG still says “Invalid Update Control CTF File” when I try to update.

Any suggestions?

hi, I downloaded AVG Ver 9.0 and having looked for the CTF files, even having un-hidden the folders, i cant see the files.. Not sure where they are, i did click delete temporary internet files ad then tried for method 2 as well, no result i was trying to upgrade it manually and gave me an error of CTF.. any suggestions.
