Thank you for this it worked perfectly. I had just spent several hours debugging through some code had found the bug and the IE tour wizard popped up and broke the debugging session! M$ just can’t help themselves can they! This is the whole “Clippy” nonsense all over again – annoying features that nobody wants or needs!

Thank you for the fix to Stop the Welcome to IE8 message. I used the zip file as I’m not real comfortable editing the registry. Microsoft seems to love to make simple tasks hard. Prior to this I had to remove a Thank you for your recent purchase of a Dell computer message tied to MSN. Appreciate the help to us average users.
