Certain models of Compaq Presario and HP PCs preinstalled with Windows 7 exhibit a problem where users cannot change the desktop wallpaper picture position to Fill, Fit, Center or Tile. It may default to Stretch mode, and changes made by users do not take effect. To fix this problem, HP released a SoftPaq (SP45575 "Wallpaper Picture Position Enabler") which applies to specific models of Compaq Presario and HP PCs.

I’ve been using PCs since 1984 and have installed a zillion things, but I must be missing something.

I downloaded and installed this onto my HP desktop. It said it was okay. But for the life of me I can’t FIND the app, to run it. Or was it supposed to just run once and be done?
