Hello again. Can you help please?
Having had success with Word (see my earlier reply) I tried the same thing with Excel, but I seem to have a problem. The right-click option for Excel-2003 appears, but it seems that the file it creates is not in the correct format. Not recognised if the extension is xls, nor if it is xlsx. I think perhaps it is some type of text file.
I'm running Windows7 with Office-2007.

thanks in advance for any advice.
regards

Thanks. I've fixed Word 2007 so I can now create a Word-2003 when I right-click.
I think Microsoft are shooting themselves in the foot trying to drive users down the road to docx etc where most people cannot go.
Excellent. Much appreciated.
