When you open the Folder Options applet in your Windows XP computer, one or all of the following tabs may be missing:

When you open the Folder Options applet in your Windows XP computer, one or all of the following tabs may be missing.
- General
- View
- File Types
Resolution
To restore missing tabs to the Folder Options dialog, download folderopt_tabs.reg from the Attachments section of this page, and save the file to Desktop. Right-click folderopt_tabs.reg and choose Merge. Click Yes to merge the contents to the registry when prompted. Note that you'll need to login as an administrator to run the file.
