regsvr32 msxml3.dll
Press ENTER.
Note: To open an elevated Command Prompt window, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
Method 2
Download xmlfix_vista.reg available at the end of this article and save to Desktop. Right-click on the downloaded file and choose Merge.

This error was driving me insane! I was only able to find 1 fix for this error on microsoft.com, but it stated the problem could be due to Dreamweaver 8 conflicts, but since I don't have Dreamweaver....the link to the fix was bad, anyway. I chose method 1 from this site and it worked like a charm!! A BIG THANKS TO YOU!

Neither of these methods is working for me. Clean install of Vista Business 64. Fully activated, with SP1. I have tried to restore default settings for IE, make IE default for everything using Default Programs, as well as fixes 1 and 2. Any additional ideas?
